Joe joined HB retirement in 2019 and has over 20 years of experience working with defined contribution, defined benefit, ESOP, and nonqualified plans. He spent the first 15 years of his career working for several of the largest institutional plan recordkeepers, Vanguard and Principal Financial. His key responsibilities included plan administration, employee education, and plan design strategies.
As Manager of Institutional Services, Joe leads a team of Plan Consultants responsible for guiding plan sponsors and committees with fiduciary oversight. His team also focuses on developing retirement plan strategies that enhance administrative and cost efficiency while helping employees create a sustainable income in retirement.
He studied finance at The Pennsylvania State University and received his MBA with a concentration in management from Saint Joseph’s University. Joseph has two kids and lives in the suburbs of Pittsburgh.
